Their eco-friendly project replaces traditional charcoal with soya chunks to clean contaminated water.&nbsp;Solar-powered UV light complements the purification process by effectively eliminating harmful bacteria. The purified water can be utilized for drinking, agricultural purposes, or groundwater recharge—a natural, pollution-free solution promising sustainability.Bacteria Detection Pen: Quick and AccurateInnovators from Coimbatore Institute of Technology introduced a game-changing bacteria detection pen. This device identifies harmful bacteria in water within just two minutes, while also assessing water toxicity levels. The innovation provides crucial data to alert authorities for swift action, ensuring public health and safety.Empowering Farmers with Affordable NPK SolutionsThe Green Fusion Innovation Team focused on the agricultural sector, presenting a cost-effective solution for producing NPK (Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium) fertilizers. Utilizing organic materials like cow dung, neem leaves, and banana peels, their system enables farmers to create custom fertilizers tailored to their soil’s needs at an affordable cost of just ₹100.
