PehlaPanna, Digital Desk : National Cyber Security Research Council Director Dr. E. Kaliraj Naidu stated that it is essential to remain vigilant about cyber security. The growing number of cyber crimes is worrying, and the demand for skilled professionals in this field is rising.


 


He was speaking at a one-day national seminar on "The Power of Connected Intelligence,” organised by the Cyber Security Department at Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET). More than 450 students from various branches took part.


 


Dr. Naidu said the cyber security sector holds huge career opportunities in the coming years. He reminded students never to share their OTP with anyone.&nbsp;


 


Rattan India Enterprises Chairperson Anjali Rattan Nashier was the chief guest. She spoke to students about innovation, startups, and connected technology.&nbsp;


 


National award winner Rashtra Shaurya discussed youth concerns and the rise in cyber crime. Lt. Commander Dheeraj Yadav held a special training session on deep web monitoring tools. Experts stressed the urgent need for strong cyber security in a fast-digitising world.&nbsp;


 


PIET Director Prof. (Dr.) Shakti Kumar talked about upcoming cyber trends and warned students about major changes expected by 2030.


Department Head Dr. Shakti Arora spoke about the multi-disciplinary value of cyber awareness and education. She encouraged students to build broad skills to face future challenges.&nbsp;


 


&nbsp;The seminar ended with strong participation from students. The event was seen as an important step towards creating a cyber-aware academic environment.

Internal Quality Assurance Cell Coordinator Dr. Suman Mann also shared her views.
